​STATIONARY LOG DEBARKER - DDF

Demuth offers a complete line of ring-debarkers. The machines are developed for different production needs and application and can process several wood species such as pine, eucalyptus, acacia and others. The largest model is projected to debark logs that reach up to 800 mm in diameter.

The DDF Debarker technology does not require an independent self centering feeding system, making a significant reduction at the initial investment, as well operating expenses for a debarking project. The product line is designed to be extremely sturdy and functional, being the High Speed (HS) types, machines extremely productivity and easy to maintain.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

​The fixed hydraulic system makes easy, quick and efficient to adjust the pressure at the log transporting rollers. The hydraulic accumulators guarantee a smooth opening and soft closing of the transporting rollers.

KNIVES

Debarking arms equipped with knife abraders, guarantee a fast and economical operation.

​V-SHAPE ROLLERS

Two transporting rollers sets (one at the feeding and the other at the out-let area), enable the logs centering, avoiding any rotation and the possibility to get out of line, while being processed through the machine.

SAFETY

All machine mobile parts are protected.

ROTOR

Sturdy rotor manufactured according to a compressing system for the debarking arms. A spring at each debarking arm operates by compression giving a fast answer to the debarking operation. In addition, the springs can work without further adjustment for minimum and maximum log diameters, with the additional power from centrifugal force.

The rotor is manufactured exclusively by Demuth and includes permanent lubricating system.
