SLANT DISC CHIPPER - DPI
The DPI slant disc chipper was projected to reach better yielding of saw mill wastes and small diameter logs.
A disc chipper combination with the forced feeding system results in a production of extremely high quality chips for pulp or board industries.
The disc chipper and chip screen set is compact, enabling less space occupation. The over dimensioned chips are reprocessed by own chipper, eliminating undesired investments with excavations, conveyor and, mainly, the need of an independent Rechipper.
The braking system decreases machine stopping time and increases operation security. The system works hydraulically, being driven through a solenoid valve.
In risky situations, the brake is interlocked with an emergency button, allowing reduction on associated damages resulted of mechanical energy transfer from rotating set. The system is dimensioned to stop the rotor in approx. 30 seconds.
EXCLUSIVE FEEDING SYSTEM
The upper hood pantographic articulation system guarantees that processing wood is carried up to a very near position to the knives, resulting in high quality chips.
MOTOR DRIVING BASE
The equipment has a metallic base for electrical motor installation, dimensioned to support the mechanical efforts due to installed power.
The motor base includes flat belt, pulley protection, belt stretching system and motor pulley, being possible to be assembled directly at the motor shaft and/or between bearing houses, with elastic coupling.
